Summer
at
Artopiatogo
In summer of 2021 Artopiatogo hosted its first full schedule of traditional summer art camps in our Heights location. It was FABULOUSLY fun! This summer we look forward to continuing our camps, this time with specific themes but still with the same open-studio atmosphere. Discovering YOUR art is what happens at camp and is our main goal.
Children enjoy working on specific projects of their choosing AND rotating between different mediums to gain exposure to a wider variety of visual art processes. Time flies in our studio, according to our busy students! We incorporate snack breaks and time for movement between activity sessions.
Featured mediums include clay, painting (acrylic, watercolor, tempera, alcohol ink, making pigments), drawing (graphite, pastels, mandalas), sculpture (constructing and painting 3d canvas), wet felting, building amazing fairy houses, sewing and more!
NOTE: Our hours in June have been modified to accommodate an exciting collaboration with a local school. In July, we will offer longer days(9 am - 3 pm) to provide even more opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and reflect on their art.
