Afterschool Class Info

The learning experience is broken into two parts, the first one being a "tool box" lesson that everyone has together to ensure students are introduced to basic skills that will guide them, or act as "tools" in their creative exploration. After completing the tool box lesson, students will plan and propose projects to work on and have time to do so called "open studio." During open studio, children must exercise independence and responsibility as they get deeper into a medium that appeals to them.

The studio offers an intimate creative environment in which I cater my instruction to support each child over time based on the child's interests and my observations. My goal is for your child to develop proficiency and independence in specific skills, and most importantly, confidence and courage in making decisions. ***These classes are suitable for children 6 Years and Older, please message me first if your child is younger to determine if it is a good fit! ***

Class runs from 4 - 6 pm and is located in our cozy studio located at 1116 Arlington St. We provide fresh water and a snack for every child. We also offer optional pickup at 3 pm from Harvard Elementary (walking to our studio from the school) and supervision in our studio before class begins at 4 pm for an additional flat semester fee of $75.
